Okay... I just made the best green juice quite possibly on the planet. You can make it too! Because most likely, you have all of these ingredients in your kitchen already.
Here's a quick step by step:
Here's a quick step by step:
Remember, you can't go wrong when you juice. Almost every combination leads to healthy deliciousness. So if you don't have all of these specifics, substitute whatever you have in your kitchen!
Ingredients:
-2 huge hand full of spinach (freshly washed)
-1 cucumber
-3 tangerines
-2 lemons
-large handfull of baby carrots
I think one of the BEST things about juicing is that if I were to sit down and try to eat all of these whole... there's no way I'd be able to! That's A LOT of food. But by juicing them... you get all the nutrients of all of these fruits and veggies!

Anyway - back to the process!
Some people leave the peels on the lemons/oranges.
It's quite bitter if you do that, so I'd highly advise to peel the oranges first. Then, I take a sharp knife and cut off most of the rind on the lemon. I dont mind leaving a bit on there though!

(This is going to make my garbage disposal smell sooooo good)
Then just start juicing!!
I like to start with the least juicy items first. I begin with the leafy veggies, this way, the next item will help wash it through the juicer.
Notice: ALL of that spinach only made THAT much juice! It takes a lot of green leafy veggies to juice, so stock up!!

All juiced! ...but not completely done!
Now - throw that juice in the fridge to chill a bit!
(don't mind my messy fridge of the GIANT box of wine - which, by the way, is the best wine ever - highly recommend)
While the juice is chilling, immediately take apart your juicer and run under warm water! If you don't almost immediately clean out your juicer, you WILL regret it. Just trust me on this and don't learn from your own mistakes... Once the pulp dries... it. is. not. fun.
Reassemble, and you're all set!
Then grab your now chilled Wake Me Up Green Juice, a little handfull of nuts, and enjoy the best lunch ever!
xox,
L
