-A Food Processor
-Glass baking pan/pie pan
Here are the 1st Layer Ingredients:
-1 cup pitted medjool dates
-1 cup raw almonds
-1/4 cup raw organic cocoa
Here are the 2nd Layer Ingredients:
-1/2 cup of raw organic cocoa
-4 tbsp raw almond butter
-4 tbsp raw organic honey
Here's what you do:
1.) Start by pitting your medjool dates. Just pop them right out! (This could get sticky)
2.) Throw all the 1st Layer Ingredients into your food processor and mix until well blended.
3.) Spread 1st Layer Ingredients into glass pan, making a smooth bottom layer.
4.) Throw all 2nd Layer Ingredients into your food processor and mix until well blended.
5.) Spread 2nd Layer Ingredients on top of bottom layer, smooth until evenly distributed.
6.) Put into freezer, wait about 30 minutes until cutting squares.
7.) FEAST! Whatever you don't eat, throw back in the freezer to munch on later.
[See photos for process]
Step 1) Pit your dates... which should look something like this.
Step 2) Throw all 1st Layer Ingredients in food processor (pitted dates, raw almonds, & cocoa) and mix until well blended.
Step 3) Spread bottom layer into glass pan.
Step 5) Spread 2nd Layer on top of Bottom Layer
Step 6) Freeze for 30 min to set. Then cut into squares (or just keep in the freezer and cut off bites whenever you need a little sugar fix!)
We sure have. And yes, we do actually keep the fork and knife IN the pan, IN the freezer... easy access ;)
Let me know if you do, I'd love to hear your "fudge brownie" reactions!
